Andela, a global talent marketplace, is addressing this by partnering with GitHub to enhance AI access within its extensive developer network. Over the past two years, 3,000 Andela engineers have received training in GitHub Copilot through the AI Academy.
Starting in 2024, structured AI training will be rolled out for developers managing complex production systems, integrating tools directly into their workflows. This approach helps developers learn within real work contexts, fostering faster onboarding and greater confidence in handling ambiguous tasks. With increased access to AI tools, developers have reported a productivity boost, emphasizing the importance of structured learning opportunities.
