Google’s Personal Intelligence Feature Now Available to All Users in the U.S.

Google is expanding its Personal Intelligence feature to all U.S. users, allowing its AI assistant to provide tailored responses by connecting to your Google ecosystem, including Gmail and Google Photos. Previously available only for paid users, this feature is now accessible in AI Mode via Search, Gemini app, and Gemini in Chrome. Personal Intelligence helps users easily locate items, like past purchases or vacation plans, without needing detailed context. For example, when planning a trip, the AI can suggest activities based on hotel bookings and family photos. Users can receive tailored recommendations, such as matching bags for new shoes. Notably, Personal Intelligence is opt-in, defaulting to off, ensuring user privacy. Currently, it is available for personal Google accounts, excluding Workspace business users. This rollout enhances the user experience by combining various Google services for more relevant assistance.
