AI has the potential to democratize access to information and provide a high-level service experience to all employees, not just senior executives, according to Previn. In large companies, it’s often impractical to provide every employee with personal assistants or specialized roles. However, AI can enable a scalable solution, offering this “white-glove experience” to everyone. Previn highlighted Circuit, an AI assistant at Cisco that functions like a seasoned coworker, facilitating tasks such as calendar management and vacation requests. Instead of requiring employees to navigate complex tools, AI agents manage processes seamlessly in the background. Although the introduction of multiple AI agents might initially increase complexity, Previn believes this is a temporary challenge. As agents enhance their capabilities, employees will increasingly be able to delegate tasks efficiently, allowing them to focus on expressing their intent rather than searching for information.
