IBM’s consulting division is pioneering the integration of AI in real-time business operations with its innovative dashboard, “Consulting Advantage.” Launched in 2024, this platform allows consultants to monitor and manage AI agents effectively, leading to streamlined processes. Senior Vice President Mohamad Ali highlighted the transformative nature of the dashboard, emphasizing its role in enhancing the efficiency of client engagements. For instance, in security operations, AI drastically reduces investigation time from 45 minutes to just a few minutes, enabling rapid risk analysis and reporting. In January alone, IBM conducted 52,000 investigations using this AI-driven approach. The firm has adapted from mainframe computing to become a major player in the AI sector, with a generative AI department valued at $12.5 billion. IBM Consulting, now comprised of around 150,000 employees, focuses on helping clients implement corporate strategies alongside AI, redefining the future of business operations.
