This advanced technology analyzes subtle signs of inflammation in heart fat, previously undetectable by the human eye. Using data from 72,000 patients, the tool achieved an 86% accuracy rate in identifying high-risk individuals, who are 20 times more likely to develop heart failure. By providing a precise risk score, the AI aids doctors in making informed care decisions, enabling early intervention and potentially preventing severe damage. The findings, published in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology, highlight the critical importance of early heart failure diagnosis for better health outcomes.
