Google has enhanced the AI experience on Android with a redesigned Gemini interface, now available in the beta version of the Google app (v17.3). This update features a more concise and intuitive design that enhances user interaction without interrupting tasks. The Gemini overlay showcases a new “pill” shape, highlighting the “Ask Gemini” feature with larger, clearer text and a minimalist microphone icon. Key functional upgrades include a new “plus” button that consolidates attachment and tools, providing easy access to photos, camera, and Google Drive through an icon carousel. Additionally, AI features like image creation and guided learning are more organized, streamlining user workflow. The Gemini Live feature has also evolved, now appearing in a flexible floating window that minimizes distractions while allowing screen sharing and control access. Currently in beta, users can activate this trial version, although a wider release date remains uncertain. For more updates, follow VOI on WhatsApp.
