The change follows criticism from LexisNexis’s executives regarding perceived liberal bias in coverage, particularly after a contentious story headline. Teresa Harmon, vice president of legal news, referenced reader complaints about bias during a recent town hall and pointed to the AI tool as a potential remedy. While it’s unclear if Harmon directly influenced the policy shift, Urda indicated that the directive came from senior management. This transition underscores Law360’s commitment to countering bias in legal journalism while embracing innovative technology solutions.
