Google has officially confirmed that Reddit Answers, its AI search tool, is powered by Gemini. Launched in a beta version in December 2024, Reddit Answers utilizes Google Cloud’s Vertex AI platform, enabling it to deliver a search experience similar to Google’s own AI tools, including the chatbot and AI Overviews.
