Generative AI, recognized as a top trend for 2025 by Gartner, has seen rapid advancements with various tools and models emerging. A significant challenge is the complexity of implementing agentic AI due to siloed efforts among teams, leading to inefficiencies. To address this, the Model Context Protocol (MCP) by Anthropic offers a cross-compatible communication standard for AI agents to interact with enterprise APIs effectively. The proposed solution involves a centralized MCP server architecture using Amazon Bedrock, enhancing collaboration, standardization, and data governance across multiple lines of business (LoBs).
