Google has enhanced video creation with its AI model, Veo 3, now accessible to Gemini app users through the affordable AI Pro subscription at $19.99/month. Initially launched at Google I/O 2023 for $249.99, Veo 3 Fast allows users to generate quick, 8-second videos in 720p resolution, now created twice as fast due to backend improvements. Users can incorporate sound effects, background music, and synthesized speech characters in their clips, creating diverse content, from historical reimaginings to mythical explorations. Pro subscribers can make up to three Veo 3 Fast videos daily before reverting to the earlier Veo 2 version. Additionally, all videos are marked with visible and invisible watermarks to denote AI generation. Google aims to improve the reliability and smoothness of the creation process and is planning to introduce a photo-to-video feature soon, reinforcing compliance with strict content policies.
