Google has launched a significant update for its Gemini app, featuring a refreshed logo and new functionalities for both Android and iPhone users. The updated logo aligns with Google’s iconic four-color scheme—red, yellow, green, and blue—offering a modern, friendlier aesthetic with rounded points and a central gradient that echoes the ‘G’ icon. This logo redesign occupies more space on its circular background, enhancing its visual appeal.
In addition to the logo update, new features have been introduced. Android users benefit from an upgraded widget that allows quick access to Video and Screenshare functionalities, streamlining the call and screen sharing process directly from their home screens. Meanwhile, iPhone users gain a conversation search feature for faster access to past chats. The latest Gemini app versions are now available: version 1.0.776555963 on the Google Play Store and version 1.2025.2562103 for iOS, although the conversation search is not yet available for Android.
