T3AI, the first Turkish large language model (LLM), debuted its beta version on the TEKNOFEST social platform, developed by the Turkish Technology Team (T3) Foundation and Baykar. Users can interact with T3AI by tagging it in posts, and it supports responses in multiple languages. Open-source and designed as ethical AI, T3AI’s creation involved 1,792 volunteers across 67 provinces in Türkiye, emphasizing AI awareness, digital integration, and workforce skill development. The project boasts notable partners, including the Turkish Ministry of National Education and Microsoft. After the beta phase, T3AI expressed gratitude for user feedback, promising improvements before its next launch. Selcuk Bayraktar, chair of the T3 Foundation, highlighted the LLM’s capability to understand Turkic languages. For engagement, registration is available at the TEKNOFEST platform, with additional information accessible via the official Anadolu and T3AI accounts. This innovative initiative marks a significant step in advancing AI technologies in Turkey.
