Bora allegedly used advanced AI tools, including Midjourney AI and Desire AI, to manipulate her face onto pornographic content, falsely suggesting her involvement in adult media. The incident sparked outrage in Assam and was confirmed by the police to be entirely fabricated, aimed at damaging her reputation after a personal breakup. Following a formal complaint, the cybercrime unit swiftly apprehended Bora, uncovering multiple fake social media accounts used to disseminate the content. The police registered a case under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, addressing offenses like cyber harassment and defamation.
