The AI regulation invites stakeholders from civil society, academia, industry, SMEs, and start-ups to participate in its responsible implementation. The Advisory Forum will serve as a key advisory body, complementing the scientific panel that supports the AI Office and national market surveillance authorities. This forum will provide independent technical expertise, focusing on standardization and challenges related to the AI Act. Ensuring balanced representation and diversity, permanent members include crucial EU agencies like the Fundamental Rights Agency (FRA) and ENISA, along with standardization bodies such as CEN and ETSI. Each member commits to a two-year term (renewable once) and engages actively in discussions without remuneration. Applications are open until September 14, 2025, for experts with a strong AI background. Interested candidates can download the call for expression of interest and the terms of reference for more details.
