Google is enhancing user access to AI Mode chat history within the Google app for Android. Soon, users will find AI Mode conversations grouped under the Activity tab, along with their regular search history and bookmarks. Currently, these chat histories are on a separate page, but an upcoming interface change will simplify access. The revamped setup will feature only the three most recent searches visible at first, with a dedicated sidebar for easier navigation and deletion of conversations. Moreover, a “Manage Public Links” option may soon allow users to share AI Mode chats via links or export them to platforms such as Gmail and Google Docs. This feature is not available in the current version but is expected in future updates. The upcoming changes were uncovered in version 16.27.69 beta of the Google app and aim to enhance user experience with AI conversational interfaces.
