Fidji Simo, the new CEO of Applications at OpenAI, addressed staff in her first memo and introduced herself in a blog post on OpenAI’s website. However, she warned that this technological shift could also risk concentrating power and wealth among the few who already possess resources and influence. Simo’s focus will be on product development and growth, signaling a commitment to making AI beneficial for everyone.
