Microsoft is testing an innovative Windows 11 update for AI-powered file and image searches through the Copilot app, now available to Windows Insiders on Copilot Plus PCs. This update enhances search capabilities by allowing users to employ more descriptive queries, enabling searches like “find the file with the chicken tostada recipe.” Earlier this year, Microsoft introduced AI-driven Windows search on these devices. Additionally, a new Copilot home experience is being trialed, which showcases recent apps, files, and conversations. Users can engage a “get guided help” feature that initiates a Vision session, where Copilot analyzes the screen and provides assistance. Furthermore, users can upload photos to Copilot for detailed inquiries. These exciting new features are being rolled out across all Insider channels through the Microsoft Store, reflecting Microsoft’s commitment to integrating AI technology for enhanced user experience on Windows 11.
