Google Drive has introduced a new feature called “Catch Me Up,” powered by Gemini AI, to help users stay updated on their files. This feature, accessible in the “Ask Gemini” section, provides an overview of edits and comments in Docs, Sheets, and Slides since the last time a file was viewed. It aims to highlight important changes, ensuring that users are always informed about recent activity. Notably, the feature can also indicate documents that are frequently edited with a “catch me up” icon next to their file names. This update began rolling out on June 3 to Google Workspace and Google One AI Premium users, initially supporting the English language. The “Catch Me Up” feature is a valuable tool for users to quickly grasp the main changes and comments in their documents, enhancing their overall productivity and collaboration experience within Google Drive.
