The Superintelligence Labs team operates largely in isolation and reports directly to Mark Zuckerberg, raising questions about its effectiveness. As Meta continues to recruit aggressively, OpenAI’s HR head has criticized their tactics as “desperate” and “unethical,” highlighting the competitive landscape of AI talent acquisition.
