This feature excels in noisy environments, making it ideal for travel. Users can also practice languages by selecting their proficiency level and goals, such as casual conversation scenarios. Current offerings include exercises for English speakers learning Spanish and French, among other combinations. These updates leverage Google’s Gemini AI models to improve translation speed and quality. Additional features like Voice Translate provide real-time phone conversation translations, mimicking natural speech. Available now for users in the US, India, and Mexico, the new tools can be accessed via the Google Translate app by navigating to the “Live translate” and “Practice” tabs.
