Apple Postpones AI App Launch Until iOS 27 Rollout

A recent ad featuring Bella Ramsey sparked interest by depicting a user struggling to recall a friend’s name, but Apple has opted to pull the campaign due to the postponement of these personal features. Predictions suggest that a more personalized Siri may not arrive until mid-to-late 2026, alongside a delayed feature allowing Siri to interpret on-screen content. Meanwhile, the potential development of an advanced version, dubbed LLM Siri, akin to ChatGPT, remains a couple of years away. Major AI upgrades for the Calendar and Health apps are also pushed to iOS 27, expected in 2027.
