AI Alliance Develops a Language and Knowledge Framework for Agents

The AI Alliance, launched in late 2023, is driving innovation in artificial intelligence through initiatives like Dana and Semiont. Dana, a Domain-Aware Neurosymbolic Agent, allows developers to engage in intent-driven programming, offering local or cloud deployment options while utilizing large language models (LLMs) for reliable outputs. This project enhances agent workflows and integrates domain-specific knowledge for improved software development.

In parallel, Semiont serves as an AI-native wiki, facilitating human-agent collaboration through high-accuracy context retrieval. Utilizing the Model Context Protocol (MCP), this tool supports locally owned knowledge bases that can be deployed on demand. Additional projects include the Open Trusted Data initiative, which focuses on metadata specifications for data provenance and lineage, and the Deep Research architecture, aimed at creating production-quality agents that access data via MCP servers. These initiatives collectively enhance AI capabilities, ensuring reliable, efficient collaboration between human and AI systems.
