This small, movable tab allows gamers to access useful tools such as screenshot and screen recording options, as well as game stats and achievements. The AI-powered Gemini Live offers curated game tips and strategies, demonstrating its ability to assist players in real-time, like during a game of The Battle of Polytopia. While it won’t replace in-depth human guides, it provides quick answers without the need to search online. Google is also working on a unified gaming experience across Android and PC with a new platform-level gaming profile to track achievements. This rollout comes alongside enhancements to the Google Play Games interface, aiming to create a more cohesive gaming experience. With partnerships involving major titles, Google aims to establish a stronghold in the competitive gaming market, even as it exits its previous missteps with Stadia.
