Twin Brothers Secure $30M to Empower Anyone to Create Apps with Autonomous AI Agents — TFN

Over the past decade, advancements in smartphone cameras have enabled platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok to transform everyday users into paid creators. Similarly, Emergent, an AI-powered coding startup based in San Francisco, is democratizing app development. Its innovative platform allows individuals without coding expertise to create apps using simple prompts.

Emergent recently secured a $23 million Series A funding led by Lightspeed, adding to its previous $7 million seed, totaling $30 million shortly after launch. The funds will drive platform growth, user onboarding, and enhance its unique agent-driven architecture, achieving $15 million in annual recurring revenue with over a million apps built.

Founded by brothers Mukund and Madhav Jha, Emergent aims to simplify software creation for entrepreneurs and hobbyists alike. By automating the development lifecycle, it enables users to develop production-ready apps quickly and cost-effectively, promising to redefine software creation like Shopify did for e-commerce.
