Goa Police Unveils AI Tools to Enhance Cyber Crime Detection

Goa Police has launched two advanced AI tools, Spot the Scam and Radical Content Analyser, aimed at enhancing smart policing and tackling cybercrime. The launch, officiated by Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, underscores the necessity of integrating advanced technology into law enforcement. CM Sawant highlighted that, in an age of escalating technology misuse, AI solutions have become essential for modern policing. The Spot the Scam tool is designed to detect patterns of online fraud, while the Radical Content Analyser monitors and flags extremist digital content. These innovations complement existing tech-based systems like Quick Pass and Deep Trace, and are anticipated to significantly enhance the efficiency and speed of cybercrime detection and responses in Goa.
