Adobe has launched its popular video editing app, Premiere, on iPhone, following an earlier announcement about its mobile version. Currently, the Android version is still in development. The free Premiere mobile app features advanced editing tools, including a multi-track timeline for videos, music, and text, 4K HDR editing support, auto-generated captions, and customizable color adjustments.
Creators can easily reduce background noise and enhance dialogue using a slider control. Notably, the app integrates AI capabilities, allowing users to generate background sounds from prompts or even create effects by humming. Additionally, Adobe’s Firefly models enable users to design images and transition videos. While the app is free, premium AI features require purchasing credits. Users have access to Adobe’s stock library of photos and sounds at no cost. Projects can be started on mobile and transitioned to the desktop app via Adobe Cloud, though reverse functionality is not yet available, positioning Adobe competitively among major video editing tools.
