Currently, the app is only available in the United States and Canada, leading to a proliferation of misleading clones in global app stores, confusing many users. Notably, an imposter app titled “Sora 2: AI Video Generator” has surged in popularity, misleading users with in-app purchases and subscriptions.
Sora 2 allows users to craft realistic avatars and generate captivating videos. The app features a user-friendly interface for creating cameos, using prompts like “Me walking through a neon-lit city.” Furthermore, users can share their creations within a social feed, similar to TikTok and Instagram.
While plans for international expansion are forthcoming, users are urged to download only from official OpenAI sources to avoid fraudulent imitators. Sora 2 Pro will soon be available to ChatGPT Pro subscribers for early access.
