Nokia Unveils Advanced Software and AI Solutions to Boost Operational Efficiency and Strengthen Network Reliability

Nokia has introduced advanced software tools and AI models within its Altiplano platform to optimize operational efficiencies and enhance network reliability for FTTH (Fiber to the Home) networks. These innovations enable operators to create a comprehensive digital twin of their network, providing a unified view of active and passive components. This capability significantly reduces operational costs and improves reliability by facilitating quicker detection and resolution of disruptions. Operators often face challenges such as limited visibility into the outside plant, leading to inventory errors and service delays. Nokia’s enhancements streamline these processes and ensure accurate inventory management. Additionally, the platform includes the Fiber Health Analyzer for proactive fiber link monitoring and the Subscriber Line Identifier for real-time inventory updates. Altiplano’s digital twin features are compatible with various inventory solutions and are designed for both new and existing network deployments, aligning seamlessly with Nokia’s Automated Broadband Easy platform for efficient fiber rollout.
