Security Leaders Adopt Zero Trust Framework but Fall Behind in AI Security Tool Implementation, Discover DXC and Microsoft Research

A recent global cybersecurity report from DXC Technology and Microsoft reveals that 83% of organizations implementing the Zero Trust model have effectively reduced security incidents. However, only 30% of organizations are utilizing AI-based authentication tools, highlighting a significant opportunity for enhancing cybersecurity. The study, conducted with over a hundred cybersecurity experts across four continents, emphasizes the necessity of adopting Zero Trust as a vital framework against rising AI-driven cyber threats. Key findings indicate that 66% of organizations struggle with legacy systems, and 72% prioritize adapting their Zero Trust policies due to emerging threats. Additionally, over 50% recognized that Zero Trust improves user experience alongside security. As cyber threats evolve, organizations are encouraged to adopt a phased approach to Zero Trust, integrating AI-driven tools to bolster defenses.
