At the recent U.S. Chamber of Commerce CO-100 conference, Google announced its AI Works initiative, aimed at empowering small businesses with the skills needed to thrive in the AI era. This initiative includes a $5 million investment from Google.org to support the development of a national training program, Small Business B(AI)sics, aimed at providing foundational AI skills to 40,000 U.S. businesses. This funding is part of Google.org’s AI Opportunity Fund, which focuses on enhancing AI literacy and workforce development across varied community segments. This comprehensive support will enable small businesses to maximize AI’s potential effectively.
