For example, one user asked about international dating as a 66-year-old from Iowa, while others disclosed personal details tied to Instagram profiles. Privacy experts express concern over users misunderstanding the public nature of these chats, noting that sensitive information can easily be linked to individuals. Although Meta states that interactions are private by default, users must actively choose to share them on the Discover feed.
