Amplitude has announced the release of its Amplitude MCP (Model Context Protocol) server and an open beta for AI Agents, enhancing digital analytics capabilities. Companies can now access Amplitude’s behavioral data through AI environments like Claude and Cursor, enabling users to query live data effortlessly in plain language. According to Wade Chambers, Amplitude’s Chief Engineering Officer, integrating behavioral context into AI enhances product development and user experiences. The new system offers immediate access to organized user journey data, streamlining the insights-to-actions process. The beta includes two AI Agents: the Dashboard Agent, which automates dashboard analysis by summarizing trends and performing root-cause analysis, and the Session Replay Agent, which conducts qualitative analysis of session replays to identify behavioral patterns and drop-offs. Insights are shared proactively via Slack, email, or Amplitude, thus enhancing teamwork and efficiency in data-driven decision-making.
