The review emphasizes AI’s role in real-time monitoring, with platforms like WHO-EARS leveraging natural language processing to identify misleading health claims efficiently. Machine learning models boast up to 97% accuracy in classifying misinformation, yet challenges such as regional biases persist.
Beyond detection, AI enhances health education through chatbots and interactive platforms, promoting digital literacy. However, the uneven distribution of resources highlights global inequalities, particularly in low-income regions.
