Reliance Jio is offering Google’s AI Pro plan, featuring the latest Gemini 2.5 model, to selected users for free for 18 months as part of a collaboration with Google. This package includes enhanced capabilities like increased image and video generation limits with Nano Banana and Veo 3.1 models, along with 2TB of cloud storage, valued at INR35,100 ($396). Mukesh Ambani, chair of Reliance Industries, emphasized the initiative to transform India into an “AI-empowered” nation, fostering innovation and creativity among citizens and businesses. Google CEO Sundar Pichai highlighted that the partnership aims to equip consumers and developers with advanced AI tools. Additionally, Reliance Intelligence will collaborate with Google Cloud to enhance access to advanced AI hardware, facilitating the development of larger AI models and faster processing. This partnership will position Reliance as a strategic partner for deploying Google Cloud’s AI platform, Gemini Enterprise, across India and beyond.
