IIT Madras Enhances BS Degree Programs with Personalized AI Learning Tools

The Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) has introduced advanced AI-powered tools into its BS Degree in Data Science and Applications, aiming to provide personalized learning support to students nationwide. This initiative, led by the Centre for Outreach and Digital Education (CODE) and in collaboration with Scaler School of Technology (SST), follows a successful pilot program earlier this year. The AI tools focus on enhancing concept clarity, interview preparedness, real-time feedback, and round-the-clock coding assistance. Professor Andrew Thangaraj, Chair of CODE, emphasized the goal of making quality education accessible and improving student autonomy and confidence. Abhimanyu Saxena, Co-founder of Scaler, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, highlighting how their tools address real classroom challenges and the potential for national impact through IIT Madras. This strategic collaboration reflects a commitment to blending academic excellence with innovative technology to meet the growing demand for tailored educational assistance.
