Currently, these features are being rolled out in the US, with no set date for other regions, including the UK.
With Gemini, users can now issue complex voice commands for navigation, request specific dining options, and even manage calendar entries hands-free. The AI provides real-time traffic alerts and offers intuitive navigation by highlighting recognizable landmarks instead of mere distances. Users can also explore nearby places using their device’s camera, asking questions about establishments by tapping the microphone. This significant integration promises a seamless and user-friendly experience, available on both Android and iOS devices, with future compatibility for Android Auto planned.
