The Bahrain Center for Strategic, International, and Energy Studies (Derasat) has introduced a training course titled “Artificial Intelligence Tools for Shaping the Future of Energy Investments.” This initiative focuses on enhancing national research and training capacities by equipping participants—from prominent institutions and companies—with the necessary skills to leverage AI for energy data analysis and to predict global market trends. Led by Dr. Omar Ahmad Al-Ubaydli, Dr. Abdullah Isa Al-Abbasi, and Engineer Sabika Khalid Ismail, the course covers AI models, energy efficiency, supply chain optimization, and carbon neutrality solutions, while also examining global trends in smart technologies for renewable energy. CEO Abdulla Mohamed Alahmed noted the program’s role in strengthening national expertise and positions Derasat as a leading think tank, promoting a knowledge-driven economy. This training is part of a broader suite of executive programs aimed at integrating research with professional development in Bahrain’s evolving energy sector.
