A key initiative is a partnership with Estonia, under its AI Leap project, offering over 20,000 students and teachers access to Gemini for Education. Additionally, Google introduced a conversational AI tool on YouTube for educational purposes, enhancing user engagement with learning content. Research trials in the U.K. demonstrated that AI tools like LearnLM improved student problem-solving abilities, while plans for further trials in the U.S., U.K., India, and Sierra Leone aim to build a robust evidence base on AI’s educational impact. Google.org will also invest $30 million to boost AI literacy in U.S. schools, fostering sustainable AI integration strategies.
