Playlab AI Unveils Global Summer Workshops for Educators to Develop AI Tools for the Classroom

Yusuf Ahmad, co-founder of Playlab AI, announced on LinkedIn that the organization will offer free virtual workshops this summer to assist educators in utilizing generative AI for teaching and learning. Running until August 22, the Playlab Summer Learning Series is tailored for K-12, higher education, and workforce development. Participants can experiment with AI tools, create custom applications, and collaborate in specialized communities. The program features three main pathways: introductory workshops for beginners, deep dive sessions on specific skills like prompt design, and professional learning communities (PLCs) for structured learning. No technical background is necessary, encouraging educators to join with “curiosity and a challenge.” The initiative aims to foster collaboration across various educators and institutions, focusing on practical applications.
