Three AI Agents Enter a Bar: Only One Bothered to Read the Menu

Unlocking the Potential of AI in Writing Analysis: A Comparative Study!

In a groundbreaking experiment, I pitted three AI coding agents—Claude Code, Gemini, and Codex—against the same writing task: analyzing 13 years of my writing style across multiple platforms. The results were revealing, showcasing the distinct capabilities and configurations of each agent.

Key Highlights:

  • Claude Code: 9.5/10

    • Conducted a thorough analysis of 2,555 lines.
    • Captured my unique “voice” and stylistic evolution.
    • Time Taken: Longest, but delivered the most insightful results.
  • Gemini: 7.5/10

    • Improved drastically after fixing the initial configuration.
    • Delivered significant content and identified my “Mentor-Geek Persona.”
  • Codex: 7.5/10

    • Fastest output with 570 lines but used an API-first approach.
    • Performance improved with the right model applied.

Lessons Learned:

  1. Configuration Matters: Proper setups can drastically impact results.
  2. Model Selection: Choose models aligned with the task at hand.
  3. Quality Takes Time: Invest effort for deeper insights.
