One prominent update, codenamed Hermes, will enable developers to publish agent workflows directly to ChatGPT via a new button in the workflow builder interface. This is set to allow users to interact with workflows seamlessly, though sharing them with others is currently unconfirmed. Additionally, image generation capabilities are on the horizon, transitioning from the playground environment to the workflow builder, with an upgraded model potentially announced alongside OpenAI’s December product launches.
Another significant development is the Apps dashboard, aimed at letting users manage applications that integrate with ChatGPT. Initially available to select partners, a broader rollout of app submissions and a new directory for browsing and searching will follow.
