Key highlights included the signing of multiple memorandums of understanding (MoUs) and the launch of various digital initiatives, such as the Bhashini Hackathon. This initiative enables citizens to access essential services in Khasi and Garo via voice and text interfaces, promoting linguistic inclusivity. Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma emphasized Meghalaya’s aspirations to lead the IT sector and leverage advanced technologies, such as artificial intelligence and quantum computing. The state has already made significant strides in health and resource mapping, contributing to a 50% decline in maternal mortality rates through data-driven governance.
