However, a Microsoft spokesperson disputed these claims, asserting that the report misrepresents the relationship between growth and sales quotas and confirming that overall sales quotas for AI products remain unchanged. According to First Page Sage, in December, ChatGPT maintained its lead as the most popular chatbot with 61.3% market share, while Microsoft’s Copilot held 14.1%, placing it second, closely followed by Google’s Gemini at 13.4%.
