Google has launched CC, an experimental AI productivity agent powered by Gemini, designed to streamline your daily organization directly from your inbox. Originating from Google Labs, CC automates task management and appointment scheduling. Its key feature is the “Your Day Ahead” email summary, sent every morning, which requires access to your Gmail, Calendar, and Drive, raising privacy concerns about sharing sensitive information.
CC blends your schedule, tasks, and notifications into one digest, allowing you to tackle priorities without switching between apps. It also enables quick actions, like preparing email drafts and calendar links, enhancing productivity. Users can teach CC their preferences by replying directly to the digest email, allowing for customization of tasks and reminders.
