Google Cloud is set to launch the Google Cloud Partner Network in Q1 2026, a transformative partner program designed to enhance partner contributions across all customer lifecycle stages. This initiative focuses on three pillars: simplicity, outcomes, and automation.
The program simplifies participation by shifting from traditional requirements to valuing genuine customer contributions like pre-sales influence and post-sales support. It introduces a new three-tier model: Select, Premier, and the exclusive Diamond tier, aimed at partners consistently delivering exceptional outcomes.
A revamped competency framework will recognize partners based on technical capabilities and proven success rather than program adherence.
Additionally, automation will streamline administrative processes, reducing partner burdens through AI-driven tracking for tier and competency achievements.
