Priced at $179, this compact device features a physical button to start or stop recording and allows users to highlight specific moments during discussions—similar to the Plaud Note Pro. The NotePin S includes accessories like a clip, lanyard, and wristband for convenience, while also offering Apple Find My support. With 64GB of storage and a 20-hour battery life, it captures clear audio via dual MEMS microphones up to 9.8 feet away. Users benefit from 300 minutes of free transcription monthly. Although the NotePin S has a shorter recording range compared to the Note Pro, it’s tailored for those on the go. Additionally, Plaud’s new desktop app enhances note-taking across various meeting platforms, utilizing AI to structure transcriptions and support multimodal input, including images and typed notes.
