Evaluating Teachers’ Preparedness and Perceived Value of AI in Education: Insights from Estonia – Frontiers

The article examines the readiness and perceived usefulness of artificial intelligence (AI) in education among teachers in Estonia. Through a comprehensive survey, it identifies key factors influencing educators’ willingness to adopt AI technologies in their teaching practices. The study highlights that while many teachers recognize the potential benefits of AI, such as personalized learning and enhanced administrative efficiency, concerns about data privacy, lack of training, and resistance to change hinder widespread implementation. Moreover, the research suggests that tailored professional development and resources are crucial in addressing these barriers. Overall, the findings emphasize the need for greater support systems and educational initiatives to prepare teachers for effective AI integration in the classroom, thereby enhancing educational outcomes.
