Google’s New AI Tool ‘Assistant with Bard’ Set to Launch First on These 3 Phones

At the recent Made by Google event, the company unveiled “Assistant with Bard,” a new AI feature for smartphones, with details on initial device compatibility. 9to5Google revealed that this generative AI assistant will first debut on the Pixel 8, launching on October 12, and the upcoming Galaxy S24, expected in early 2024. Support will extend to Pixel 6 and newer models, along with Samsung’s Galaxy S23. Assistant with Bard merges the capabilities of the Bard chatbot with Google Assistant, allowing users to perform tasks through voice, text, or images. It utilizes data from Google apps for personalized responses, with prompt examples including drafting emails or planning surprises. While initial access is limited to select testers, broader availability will follow in the coming months. This integration into Google’s ecosystem highlights the growing role of artificial intelligence in enhancing user experience on smartphones.
