OpenAI has launched ChatGPT Health, an AI-driven section of its chatbot focused on health-related inquiries. This innovation allows users to receive personalized responses by connecting to various health data services, including Apple Health, MyFitnessPal, and Peloton. ChatGPT Health can analyze medical histories and lab results to tailor health advice specifically to users’ needs.
To access this feature, a waitlist has been introduced for beta users, available for ChatGPT Go, Plus, Pro, and Free plans, although initial access is limited to users in the United States. The Health integration will progressively open up to web and iOS users outside Switzerland, the UK, and the European Economic Area in the coming weeks. This development emphasizes OpenAI’s commitment to enhancing personalized health insights and leveraging AI technology in healthcare settings.
