Apple’s New Creator Studio AI: Protecting Your Work by Not Training on It

Apple has launched its Creator Studio without using user data for AI training, ensuring strong privacy protections. Brent Chiu-Watson, the app product marketing manager, emphasized that content created in the platform will not be utilized for AI development. The Creator Studio features a subscription model that includes video editing and image processing tools alongside new AI capabilities, positioning Apple as a competitor to Adobe. While Apple employs AI models from OpenAI for tasks like generating images in Keynote, users cannot select specific AI models, as Apple has determined the best options for each function. Bob Borchers, responsible for product marketing, stated Apple’s focus is to enhance human creativity rather than replace it. Furthermore, Apple asserts that users retain ownership of their creations and have control over their sharing. This move reinforces Apple’s commitment to user privacy and creativity in the evolving digital landscape.
